Boo was a fulvic/humic acid supplement that exploded on the scene a few years ago. Derrived from a Canadian peat bog it offered high concentrations of minerals aside from fulvic and humic acid. I got involved and was selling it, but only after taking some months reviewing testimonials. I was incredibly impressed by what people were saying about how their health had improved.
The Boo company was taken down due to a lawsuit claiming that it had toxic minerals in it. Sometime after, it was purchased by Youngevity, owned by Dr Joel Wallach a mineral mastermind in alternative medicine. As it is is sold now, under the name of Midnight Minerals, it is recommended sole;y as a bath or soak. Interesting, eh? We all know that what is applied topically is absorbed through the skin. Anyway. This is a liability issue.
As I looked into what is going on with the Midnight minerals product I am finding that people are still taking it orally. I still take it orally. It is a matter of personal discretion, I believe. Look into it and make your own determinations. You will want to look into it after I present the testimonials in my next few blog posts.
We will start with these blog that I put together when the product was under the BOO name. All the following information comes from the company formerly known as BOO.
More detailed information and testimonials will be published soon.
Best Ways To Use BOO (now known as Midnight Minerals)
Listed below are a few ways you can utilize the powder:
• Drink – We recommend starting out slow with the powder, as it is very powerful. If you have an inflammatory condition, are pregnant or nursing or have an autoimmune condition, consider starting out with ½ teaspoon in a foot bath for a week before using internally. The following week you can take 1/8 teaspoon internally and lower the dose even further to a sprinkle if you have any detox reactions. Drink a glass of water every hour to help the body shuttle out the toxins if you start feeling nauseous. Doing it this way will ensure you’ll not have issues with toxins trying to move quicker that the body can handle. If you go at your body’s pace, you should be fine. For everyone else, we recommend starting out at 1/8 to 1/4 of a teaspoon once or twice a day and work up to the full dose on the packet.
BOO founder says first thing in the morning on an empty stomach is best because it’s when we absorb it most and if you want an extra oxygen boost, drink it within 30 minutes. Sipping it throughout the day still gives you all the minerals but not the extra oxygen boost.
Use pure water, without chlorine or fluoride in it. Distilled is ok, or spring, or well.
• Foot Bath – We recommend using ½ to 1 teaspoon of fulvic in a foot bath. You can also add to an ionic bath. For starters do the bath for 15 minutes. If you tolerate it well next time try a bit longer. I worked up to 40 minutes, or until the water was fully cool.
• Detox Bath – The pack states 1 tbsp for a detox bath. Depending on bath size, you may want to use between 3-6tsp.
• Face Mask – We recommend using ½ teaspoon of fulvic, ½ teaspoon of baking soda and a tsp of water. You can also add essential oils to the mix and/or aloe. Check out our face mask and bath recipe Guide.
• Shampoo – Add ¼ tsp into your shampoo bottle. We have had reports of fuller, thicker hair using this approach.
• Toothpaste – You can sprinkle a pinch onto your toothbrush, or dip toothbrush into the bag. You can also make your own toothpaste with fulvic, bicarbonate of soda and even add a drop of essential oils such as geranium, red thyme and add water to mix into a paste. (Use same amount of fulvic to bicarbonate of soda for example ¼ teaspoon fulvic powder, ¼ teaspoon of fulvic) This can also be used on gums.
• Mouthwash – You can mix some fulvic powder with water and use as a mouthwash, use a pinch with some essential oils or add to coconut oil for Fulvic oil pulling.
• Poultice / Paste – These are used to treat a specific area of the body. All you do is make a paste, apply onto the area and wrap in cling film / saran wrap. We recommend using the same amount of fulvic as baking soda and add water until it makes a paste. You can even add essential oils (if you understand therapeutic treatments for different oils) Leave on the area for 20 minutes and rinse off.
What dose of BOO Fulvic should animals / pets take it?
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per 40lb. Dose accordingly, depending on the weight of the animal. Monitor your pet. A lower dose may be required if they have a detox reaction, fatigue being the most common. Some pets may vomit worms so be prepared for that. If your pet has long standing chronic illness be observant and adjust dosage as necessary.
Water with Chlorine or Fluoride – it is recommended that you neutralize these chemicals if your household water has this issue. For a footpath add 1 teaspoon of baking soda and let it sit for 20 minutes. For a bath tub add one cup and let it sit for 20 minutes

I had to get the app to be able to comment 🙄
I still drink my Midnight minerals, formerly known as BOO. It keeps me from having to use pain meds 🥰
